One of the core values of Chughtai Lab is education and we are keen to support next generation of pathologists. To continue this tradition, Chughtai Lab organized one day workshop titled “Coagulation workshop (Hands-on and practical implications) in collaboration with Hemophilia society” on April 18th. It was organized for FCPS part II candidates who will appear in next examination with an objective to enable them in understanding basic techniques and case scenarios.
Coagulation disorders include both congenital and acquired bleeding disorders. Many of these patients remain undiagnosed or either misdiagnosed. As hematologists are responsible for proper diagnosis and management of these patients, this workshop aimed to give basic and important high-lights about diagnose and consultative approach of coagulation disorders.
Prof. Dr. Nauman A. Malik, HOD Hematology Department Chughtai Lab, Dr. Ayisha Imran and Dr. Ayesha Mansoor, Consultant Hemotolgoists at Chughtai Lab led the workshop for FCSP candidates. 25 candidates from various institutes attended this conference. The workshop was concluded with certificate distribution ceremony among all the participants.
