The Virology department at Chughtai Lab is a full-service virology laboratory that performs highly sensitive tests such as molecular testing and Serological markers.
Chughtai Lab is one of the few labs in the country where Molecular testing is performed on fully automated systems. We have state-of-the-art equipment like Cobas 6800, Hologic Panther and QIAsymphony/ Rotor Gene Q operated by highly trained and professional staff to surpass patient expectations and consultant satisfaction. The Molecular testing is performed for important Viruses such as Hepatitis C (HCV), Hepatitis B (HBV), Human Immunodeficiency virus (HIV), Cytomegalovirus (CMV), Epstein Barr Virus (EBV), BK virus, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), SARS-CoV-2, Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV 1,2), and many more.
