An academic seminar on “Development of New Specialties in Pathology” was organized at Chughtai Institute of Pathology. Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry, President CPSP, has graciously chaired the session. Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal – General Hospital Lahore, Prof. Muhammad Tayyab – Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Prof. Aamir Zaman – Principal Services Institute of Medical Sciences and Prof. Mehmood Ayaz participated in the seminar.
More than 70 percent of diseases spread via viruses and we do not have sufficient studies or virologists in our country. The purpose of this seminar was to integrate the public and private sector to assert on and work towards more productive studies in the field of virology.
